Middle Country Central School District offers student modern education technology that is aligned with the New York State standards for learning. The district is considered to be medium size when compared to other New York school systems. Residents vote annually for the district budget and for open seats on the School Board. All School Board meetings are open to the public except for executive sessions when confidential matters are discussed involving personnel. The district is made up with eight elementary schools, two Pre-Kindergarten/Kindergarten Centers, two middle schools, and two high schools. The district encourages all parents to initiate and maintain regular communication with your child’s teachers to ensure continued academic and behavioral growth.
