The Groton Central School District is situated in northern Tompkins County and includes parts of Cortland and Cayuga Counties.

The staff and teachers in the Ithaca City School District work right along with parents to provide one of the best teaching experiences for pupils. There are several different cultures and religions attending this New York Public School District so it has a very diverse background of students.
