Connetquot Schools

Connetquot Central School District offers continuing Education to people who live in the district not attending a regular day school and are at least 16 years of age. Age 60 and over, are also invited to partake in the continuing education program. Connetquot Central seeks to provide students an excellent education for an affordable cost and works to promote the mental, physical and social well being of the children of the community. They also address Preschool with their Alternative Preschool program that is a thematic language based program, which facilitates communication and learning within natural contexts.

The program services children aged two to five years old, who have been evaluated and found to have developmental delays in one or more areas. The school includes both self-contained, as well as inclusion classrooms. Related services include areas of speech and language, occupational therapy, physical therapy and psychological counseling. In addition, support groups are offered to parents to increase home-school connections and to encourage skill development for all of our children. The Connetquot Central School District works collaboratively between the school, home and community.
