Clarkstown Schools

Clarkstown Central School District is located at 62 Old Middletown Road New City, NY and it serves grades K-12. The Clarkstown Central School District is planning to
institute building-level professional development teams. These teams will be responsible for establishing on-going, job embedded professional development that supports their greatest areas of need as reflected in each school’s action plans and our strategic goals. The secondary professional development teams have already been created through consultation with principals; the elementary teams will be developed with the elementary principals.

Understanding the ever-complicated and changing face of funding our educational systems and the need to find creative approaches to meeting rising costs, it is with much pride that the superintendent is able to announce the launch of the Clarkstown Education Foundation. Recently certified as a not-for-profit, tax-deductible organization, one hundred percent of all proceeds raised will benefit the Foundation and its initial objectives of supporting CCSD’s goal of enhanced technology for students and staff; providing scholarships to Clarkstown High School graduates; and awarding professional grants to Clarkstown educators to support new or established projects.

When a community comes together, there is a tremendous force for change. Together, we have determined areas of greatest need and taken steps down our path of improvement. Each step we take will lead us closer to the school system we are destined to be, inside and out. Their students, your children, will continue to be a source of great pride and shine brighter than ever. And, with commitment, support and a lot of elbow grease, our facilities will shine brightly as well.
