Brewster Central School District is located at 30 Farm-To-Market Road Brewster, NY. Putnam County is situated in the southeastern part of New York State, between the Hudson River on its west and the New York-Connecticut border on its east. Putnam is southeast of Newburgh, and it is north of White Plains. The county has six public school districts: Brewster, Carmel, Garrison, Haldane, Mahopac, and Putnam Valley. Mahopac is the largest school district in Putnam County, educating more than 5,000 students in four elementary schools, a middle school, and a high school. This New York Public School District serves grades K-12 in Putnam County of New York State.

The Brewster Central School District is composed of 5 different school buildings. There are two primary schools - John F. Kennedy and Garden Street School, one intermediate school - C.V. Starr, one middle school - Henry H. Wells, and one high school - Brewster High School. The mission of the Brewster Central School District is to provide an environment in which all children will learn. The organizational structure will possess the resources and personnel to establish high standards of achievement, to foster respect and dignity for each individual, to offer varied learning opportunities, and to equip all students with the skills necessary to become productive, contributing members of the world community.
