Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School is located at 283 Washington Avenue in Buffalo, New York. The school provides an excellent education for students in kindergarten through 5th grade.
Throughout the district, each elementary school adheres to the second step program, which is a violence prevention program that was introduced to the district a few years back. Through a caring and safe learning environment, students grow to become productive members of society.
The mission statement of Theodore Roosevelt Elementary school states, “It is the mission of Roosevelt Elementary School to provide an educational environment that is inclusive of all learners and honors diversity, while developing the knowledge, skills and abilities of each learner within a safe and nurturing community.”
Along with their mission statement, their vision is that the educational environment will accomplish excellent results in all of the New York State standards by implementing professional partnership, integrated set of courses, and on-going evaluation. The purpose of Theodore Roosevelt Elementary School is to form an educational environment that is focused on self-esteem, confidence, independence, and achievement for every student.
