Mexico Elementary School is located at 26 Academy Street Mexico, NY and it serves grades K-4 in Oswego County. This Technology Plan is based on the belief that a well-designed computer-based technology curriculum will encourage learning and benefit all disciplines. The heart of the Technology Plan focuses on teacher training, curriculum design, instruction, expansion, communication, student data management, and parent and community involvement. New technological developments, are continually being studied and evaluated and will be incorporated into the Technology Plan.
The surrounding community is made up of both friendly and supportive parents that desire a quality education for their children and remain very active with the PTA to ensure learning excellence. With teachers and staff adhering to the philosophy “that all children can learn” coupled together with supportive parents the Hilton High School provides a tremendous learning opportunity for education.
Mexico Elementary School curriculum coordinators work closely with administration, grade levels, and departments to ensure that curriculum is continually being reviewed, evaluated, and adjusted to meet the needs of students. Additionally, staff analyzes state and local test results as a means of changing curriculum and instruction. Technology integration and activities that provide opportunities for problem solving, students at every grade level gradually become accountable for their own learning.
