Maple Hill Elementary School is located at 491 County Route 78 Middletown, NY and it serves grades 2-5 in Orange County. Maple Hill Elementary serves students of diverse cultural backgrounds in grades 2 through 5. The school day begins at 9:10 a.m. for children and ends at 3:40 p.m. Ground was broken for the school in the spring of 1996 and Maple Hill Elementary School opened its doors to students in September 1997. The campus is located on County Route 78 in the Town of Wallkill; just outside of Middletown, New York.
Maple Hill Elementary School building is divided into four wings. Each wing contains students from each grade level. They offer bilingual education, inclusion classes, and programs in art, music, physical education and library. The school also has several computer labs.
Locally, residents in the area enjoy beautiful wooded green landscapes along with beautiful lakes and rivers throughout the area. It’s the intent of this school to rally around the educational philosophy to encourage the development of critical thinking, self esteem, and responsible people of tomorrow. In addition, they are committed to having high expectations for students to excel in learning.
