Dryden Street School staff works diligently to develop a stimulating and dynamic curriculum that addresses the new State standards in language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. Support for those students in need is provided through after-school programs, mentoring, and tutoring. Enrichment programs are provided for all students, expanding their knowledge and skills. The library and computer rooms are sources of information that enhance each child’s educational experience through technology.
The Parents, staff and administrators actively participate in decision making and in the development of programs at Dryden Street School. Highly successful and well-attended parent workshops address the new State testing, safety in schools, and other relevant and important issues. Dryden Street School is a family where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. A safe and supportive place like Dryden is a wonderful environment in which to learn.
