The mission of the Vincent Smith School is to provide a small, supportive educational setting for reluctant learners and students with special educational needs, where they can achieve acade4mic success and learn valuable life skills, in order to become participating members of society. The school is committed to providing a well-integrated program of studies and activities necessary for social adjustment, individual development and sound academic learning.

Philosophy
The Vincent Smith School seeks to identify and build the individual abilities of each student, and to remediate deficits in academic skills. The school offers a structured program that emphasizes the development of organizational and study skills. Students are encouraged to realize sound social attitudes, to express creativity and originality, and ultimately to achieve a clear sense of self-worth based on genuine accomplishments.
